Ramanagara Marathon & Dhananjaya

Bangalore city has been the hub of Marathons in south India and slowly other cities like Mysore is catching up with the running fever. A bunch of professionals from Ramanagara came up with idea to bring Marathon run to their city and also contribute to the society by spreading awareness about social causes. The Marathon operation started with a rough ride of no sponsors for promotion and were looking for a prominent personality to endorse our event.

We approached then an upcoming and promising Kannada film actor Dhananjaya to associate with an upcoming event for a noble cause & provide us a video commercial to promote the event. Inspired by the Organ Donation cause, he instantly agreed and provided us with this inspirational video for the promotion which was successful in promoting the first edition of our Run.

Encouraged by his motivational words and humbleness , we decided to elate our association with Dhananjaya and requested to be our Brand Ambassador for 'Ramanagara Marathon - Organ Donation Awareness Run'.

Dhananjaya, a man from humble beginnings, athletic personality and always ready to contribute for a noble cause is with us as our official Brand ambassador and will help us in :-

  1. Motivating younger population to take up running and exercise.
  2. Help us in Promoting Ramanagara Marathon and its unique cause on Organ Donation among a wider audience and general populace.
  3. Carry forward the message of rural cleanliness, nature conservation and our other causes for the event to fellow runners and General public.
